Position Description
Our client is seeking a creative, analytical, critical thinker and results driven individual as their Wireless Field Engineer. The Wireless Field Engineer will be responsible for installing applications for our clients in Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, and other countries in Latin America.
Experience/Skills Required
The Field Engineer is expected to possess the following qualities:
*Excellent understanding of Mobile Architecture
*Strong working familiarity of Linux Operations Systems
*PBX Mobile Architecture savvy
*Fine working knowledge of network and application security concepts, as well as software mobile security.
*Familiarity with CentOS software operating system
*Security+ Certified
*2G, 3G and GSM experience
*Encryption know-how
*Knowledge of application setup and testing is required
*Solitary worker but with teamwork ability
*Organized, good time administration
*Posses Initiative and self-direction
*Conscious of the impact of the development of his job
*Organized, and mindful of good time administration
*Strong/solid experience with wireless application installation
*Must be able to travel 50% of the time
*Fluency in the Spanish Language is a plus
*Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field
*5-8 years of practical field experience
