National Sales Manager/Country Manager

About Our Client
Our Client is a manufacturer of standardized plant extracts from selected botanicals.

Position Description
The Sales Manager or Product Manager will obtain new client, retain existing clients, and handle all aspects of the sales initiatives for our clients in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

* Design and Implement area of commercial strategy along with the director of the division.
* Retention of current client’s portfolio.
* Identify potential clients.
* Assure the fulfillment of the sales objectives and business plans in the assigned market.
* Select, create, and motivate members of the customer service team.
* Coordinate their activities with other delegations of the company and along with other departments of the company.
* Traveling 30% to 50% from July to December 2009.
* 3 months of training in Europe.

Experience/Skills Required
* Sales Manager or Product Manager for the Pharmaceutical Industry in the United States
* Client results oriented.
* High capacity to carry out consultative and persuasive sales.
* Self Starter and Tenacious.
* High level of interlocution and excellent communication skills.
* High capacity for making decisions.
* High capacity for working in teams.
* Organized professional, enthusiastic, participative and multitask.
* Proficient in Windows, Microsoft, and Internet Search Engines
* English/Native, Spanish/Fluent
*Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Veterinary or Pharmacy.

Compensation
The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications.

NOTE *The candidate MUST have experience selling to Pharmaceutical companies. The Sales Manager or Product Manager will obtain new client, retain existing clients, and handle all aspects of the sales initiatives. Based in Houston, TX.
