Our client distributes wireless products such as cell phones and accessories, wireless data equipment, and offers inventory management, logistics, fulfillment, customized packaging, and assembly services, as well as supply chain and reverse logistics services.
Position Description
- Overall functional ownership of the Device Management (DM) solution set, including Device Strategy and Ranging, New Product Introduction, and Product Lifecycle Management for the Mexican market
- Successfully roll-out PLM measures across the organization, including running PLM reviews and facilitating decisions on PLM levers such as pricing and promotions
- Review and interpret PLM and competitive intelligence data
- Pro-rata P&L Ownership of allocated Device Management Revenue and Costs, as well as the design and business rules (in association with Platform commercial team) of the methodologies for allocation
- Creation of a standardized Device Management operating rhythm, decision rights matrix, and decision frameworks for all DM-related analysis
- Integration of processes into a standardized overall solution set across the other services
- Develop processes to ensure the company provides an innovative and best practice service to its clients to deliver Competitive Advantage
- Strong interaction with customer segments, ranging team, corporate marketing, other product-related functions and strategy
- Conduct market analysis of trends, competitive environments and other factors
- Identify predictive patterns in PLM data, identify product scenarios that can be determined based on several weeks of sales, identify geographies, store types, customer segments, etc. that are leading in terms of overall market trends)
- Support review of decision right within the organization to allow for effective PLM decision-making and fast execution
- Work with Products and Device Management teams to ensure the right mix of features, positioning and Contribution margin for devices is communicated to channel partners
- Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for Mexican market customers
- Develop and implement Services aligned to device management value creation initiatives
- Create a road map of device management services aligned to customer requirements
- Understand customer pain points from a device management perspective
- Work with the company’s and customers’ sourcing and device management teams to ensure that deliverables understood.
- Co-create and maintain an innovation roadmap for Device Management platform developments.
Experience/Skills Required
To be successful in this position candidate must possess and effectively demonstrate the following skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
