Position Description
The Business Development/Sales Manager will be the responsible for Business Development and sales within USA for existing customers, and prospects. All sales will be performed within the framework of the commercial guidelines and quality assurance of the Company. While reporting to the NAFTA Development Manager the ideal candidate will be responsible to lead the USA distribution logistic team. Other responsibilities include:
• Execution of the USA Distribution Sales Plan. Follow up closely and coordinate the sales; volume and pricing
• Participates on the definition of price guidelines/strategy, in collaboration with the Development Manager
• Follows up in detail the portfolio of customers under his/her command
• Keeps company informed about the evolution of food-processing markets
• Looks after all relevant information related to market activities
• Follow-up and support of closed contracts together with the Operational Team
• Ensure contracts negotiated with customers contain: quality, quantity and price within the commercial framework and the limits fixed by the Company
• Makes sure those client payment are respected and intervenes when necessary, in the event of a late payments
Experience/Skills Required
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or any other related area
• At least 4 years within the distribution industry
• Excel, Word, Outlook (emails), and learning skills to use internal software (ITAS- Integrated Time and Attendance System)
• High mathematical skills to be able to understand and optimize company’s Origin -Destiny Network
• Excellent reasoning ability to be able to make decisions using common sense. Ability to decipher detailed instructions, complex problems, draw conclusions from collecting data, apply scientific thinking, etc
• Teamwork skills are required
• Dynamic, listening capacity and ability to solve problems
The Sales Manager needs to be able to understand the problems, provide solutions and implement correction in the procedures to avoid future problems

• A sense of negotiation, relationship ease and autonomy
• Rigor, and analysis sense
• Creativity and initiative
• Bilingual – English is a must and Spanish as a second language will be an advantage.
