Position Description
Our Client is looking for a Business Development Manager for the Application Technical Services (ATS) unit which is a newer division of the company. The ideal candidate should have strong sales skills selling Tier-1 IT services to organizations within the US and experience selling Application Technical Services with an off-shore model. The ATS division services different vertical markets such as Manufacturing, Health Care/Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences, Banking, High Tech/Telecom. The Business Development Manager will be dependable on to bring in new accounts. Reporting to the sales head, responsibilities will include:

Manage sales cycles and close new business and Capital Markets

• Sell on-site and offshore end-to-end application life-cycle management services that encompass Consulting, Implementation, Global roll-outs, Upgrades and Migration, Integration and Development services
• Strategize with customers, solution partners, and cross-functional teams to develop compelling business cases for enterprise solutions
• Develop key strategic relationships with clients and third party administrators
• Scope projects and design and present solution proposals with strong organization and time management skills
• Create leads, develop pipeline and sales forecast, as well as develop strong relations with IT managers, divisional VPs and C-level executives of Fortune 1000 companies
• Consistently exceeded quotas, and company goals

Experience/Skills Required
• Bachelors in Business, MBA in Sales/Marketing preferable
• More than 8 years of total work experience
• At least 3 Years of business development experience in North American geography
• Excellent understanding of verticals: Manufacturing, Health Care/Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences, Banking, High Tech/Telecom
• Proven experience in lead generation and winning new business
• Proven record in handling end-to-end sales cycles starting from identification to closing large deals
• Successful track record of selling off-shore IT application and infrastructure services
• Exceptional ability to demonstrate and deliver the technical features, competitive advantages and business benefits
• Ability to work in an ambiguous / dynamic work environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High Energy/ Dynamism/ results oriented & a go-getter
• Hands on Approach
• Ability to manage complexity. Flexible & mature approach
• Must have good commercial acumen
