Position Description
To be a successful Advisor, one must be able to build deep relationships with a range of clients, establish credibility as a source of trustworthy advice, and excel at building a business. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Selling to and servicing an existing client base developed through client
• Build your business by identifying and cultivating prospective clients, and building
on current client relationships
• Proven knowledge of the financial industry
• Ability to quickly learn and market a variety of financial products and services.
• Strong Sales and/or management background
• Commitment and relationship building skills that are crucial to establishing long-
term clients
• Help clients to determine financial and investment needs, and utilize sales skills to
effectively recommend suitable financial products
• Develop a consultative, rather than a transaction-oriented, approach toward clients
and prospects
• Be trained in financial products to suit a variety of objectives and risk levels
Experience/Skills Required
To be successful in this position you must possess and effectively demonstrate the following skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
• Having an established book of business, preferably with a focus in Latin America.
• NASD Series 7
• NASD Series 63, 65, or 66
• At least 3 years industry experience
• Exceptional communication
• Building customer loyalty as a way to demonstrate excellence at client service
• Contributing to team success
• Ability to work with very limited supervision
Compensation
The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
